I’m Soniya Scott, and I was born in the Philippines. I studied Fine Arts Advertising and Fashion Designing. I participated in several group painting exhibits while I was young which helped guide me towards my passion for the arts. I worked as a window display artist at one of the most prestigious international trendy stores in Manila. It gave me the opportunity to travel internationally for fashion forecasting. I ventured into business, and I designed and produced my own fashion accessories. I founded an online magazine news “MBNChannel” which has been successfully launched April this year. I found an opportunity to promote my business by then. I have a chance to reach a potential reader to understand my artistic expression through my work, and my entire life journey. I am influenced by the world around me that is why I focus on what makes it beautiful in the present.
I migrated to the United States and I met the person who became my husband, David Scott. Together we started a family and I gave birth to the most precious boy, Brandon Scott. My career started in art and fashion and the natural flow of business in Las Vegas led me to the hospitality industry. For two decades, I forgot and lost my passion for the arts.
As an artist, I am always conceptualizing in my deep thoughts. My inspiration comes from my life experiences and the people who surround me.

I love communicating with colors. Colors have their own voice. By utilizing colors I can be heard by creating harmonious color palettes that show joy, energy, emotion and empowerment. I like to use vibrant, warm colors reflecting my own personality. My inner self is displayed when I use my brushes in my color palette and paint on the canvas to create a layer of colors.My palette is a revelation of different emotions and life experiences, as expressed abstractly. My medium is acrylic. The flexibility and versatility enhance my style and technique to give a unique feel to my art.
My style of painting is abstract. I combine the colors with changing flows, textures, and techniques to create layers of depth and dimension that the viewers can connect to the authenticity of their feelings, emotions, and movements.

I love to paint and draw. My dream is to be a great artist. One who can express themselves in a way that resonates with the audience. One who can create art that seamlessly blends with their surroundings so that it is not noticeable.
