This role is about injecting passion and engagement into our retail space. We believe in excellent customer service and will be looking for candidates who exemplify stoke for the outdoors, our brand, and growing our retail experience. Taking pride in product knowledge is vital as you will be capturing a story along with direct knowledge of our optics and apparel. Working effectively with store management to implement store promotions and events, execute sales and operational processes, and maintaining a fluid space between inventory management and creating a strong store floor layout. Be excited about harnessing ideas and processes that will speak to our level of building brand passion and loyalty, and knowing what truly makes us unique. This is being a brand ambassador at the best level, we’re looking for candidates who love to engage and interact.
Responsibilities & What You’ll be Doing:
- Helping create an environment of customer service excellence while supporting the Store Manager with product placement, creative store layout and appearance, merchandise displays, POS procedures, and engagement through multimedia opportunities that include tv’s, a film screen room, and virtual reality
- Embodying TGR’s cultural values to lead with customer focus, relationship building, and collaboration
- Light cleaning and administrative tasks to assist the Store Manager when needed
- Assisting with stock and inventory – both outbound and inbound
- Assist with community marketing and integration
- Assist the Store Manager with marketing activation from HQ and events/promotions both internal and external
Core Qualifications & What Makes You a Fit:
- Retail experience preferred – can train right candidate(s) with complementary work background
- High School graduate
- Ability to effectively communicate with customers and coworkers
- Ability to maneuver around the sales floor, stock room, and office
- Ability to lift/carry 40 lbs
