Savannah City Market is in period of change, with a Charleston, South Carolina-based property management firm buying several of the properties in the two-block long arts and entertainment destination earlier this year.
A City Market building not purchased by Green Room Partners, the one located at the corner of Barnard and Bryan adjacent to Ellis Square, recently sold to another buyer, according to Chatham County property records.

Currently home to a T-shirt shop and a law firm’s offices, 12 Barnard St. sold for $2 million to Noorfam Ventures LLC. The company formed in early June, according to the Georgia Secretary of State’s business license division, and lists Savannah resident Farooq Lane as the registered agent. Noorfam Ventures classifies its business as a lessor of non-residential buildings.
Lone could not be reached for comment regarding future plans for building.
