COSHOCTON – Wiley Companies based in Coshocton recently provided tote bags for people attending the Teachers, Industry and Environment Conference in Columbus.
The annual event brought together educators, industry professionals and the Ohio Environmental Protection Agency and is dedicated to inspiring and equipping third to eighth grade science educators across the state.
The conference offered a hands-on experience designed to highlight the value and positive impact of chemistry and science while empowering educators with resources and tools and helping make science education engaging and inspiring for students. The event is free for attendees thanks to support from those engaged in chemistry research and the chemical manufacturing industry that contributes significantly to the Ohio economy.
The conference was attended by 59 teachers.
