A curated gift and novelty store with a cause is one of several new stores scheduled to open in the coming year at the Mall at Partridge Creek in Clinton Township.

The open-air, dog-friendly shopping center on Hall Road is expanding its 80-plus store lineup by adding five new national brands.

New tenant signings include Kids Empire, Windsor, Lovesac, JD Sports, and Box Lunch, according to Melissa Morang, the mall’s general manager.

“Each of our new tenants — be it a unique fashion retailer, a revolutionary home furnishings brand or an imaginative indoor playground — appeals to our diverse audience of visitors and aligns with our commitment to delivering an unparalleled experience in the heart of Macomb County,” Morang said in a statement.

The Box Lunch location opened its doors this summer, while the other new tenants are slated to commence operations in 2024.

Box Lunch is a gift and novelty store offering unique pop-culture-licensed-merchandise. For every $10 spent at its more than 200 locations, the shop will provide a meal to someone in need. The 3,142-square-foot Box Lunch is east of MJR Cinema.

Other new stores in the works include:

  • JD Sports, a globally recognized sportswear retailer that offers an array of high-quality branded athletic and casual wear. Their top-tier products cater not only to athletes but also to those looking to incorporate sporty and stylish elements into their everyday wardrobe. JD Sports will open its 5,390-square-foot store south of Brio Tuscan Grill in late 2023 or early 2024.
  • Kids Empire is an indoor playground experience where children of all ages can climb to new heights, jump, run, build, slide, snack, ride and more. With over 50 spacious indoor playgrounds across the U.S., the brand provides a safe space for children to use their imagination and create memories with their families. Kids Empire will be located across from Coach in a 10,998-square-foot facility and is expected to open in the summer or fall of 2024.
  • Lovesac, known for its innovative and sustainable products, brings a fresh approach to home furnishings. Their original, modular ‘Sactionals’ and oversized Sac bean bags can be customized to fit any space and style. Lovesac will be located next to Pandora in a 1,400-square-foot store in the winter of 2024.
  • Windsor trendy clothing, accessories and footwear for women. They aim to empower women through fashion by providing a wide range of styles, from casual chic to glamorous formal wear. When Windsor opens in winter 2024, the store will be located in a 3,416-square-foot facility. It has more than 300 locations across the United States.

Partridge Creek mall is on Hall Road (M-59), between Garfield and Romeo Plank roads.
